從國際標準角度來看，由於Cat.6 Structured Cabling System 不能滿足10Gbps的數據中心應用，未來再升級的可能性比較小，因此建議優選Cat.6A Structured Cabling System 9 9 x i n x i n e t。而Cat.7和Cat.7A Structured Cabling System ，雖然支持10Gbps，甚至是25Gbps的Data Center Design and Build，但由於目前可選擇的網絡設備較少，加上造價較高，所以不推薦選用9 9 x i n x i n e t。
至於40Gbps的Data Center Design and Build 應對應Cat.8Structured Cabling System9~9~x~i~n~x~i~n~e~t。目前Cat.8 Structured Cabling System主要分為Cat.8.1及Cat.8.2，兩者的系統帶寬都是2000M在，永久鏈路長度24米，信道長度為30米，提高整條信道的信噪比9~9~x~i~n~x~i~n~e~t。其區別在於：
Cat.8.1是從Cat.6A Cabling System的技術升級，採用大導體低衰減的方案，配套使用改進的RJ45模塊，向下兼容原先Cat.6A支持的應用9 9 x i n x i n e t。
Cat.8.2則是是從Cat.7和Cat.7A Cabling System的技術升級的，採用線對屏蔽低串擾方案，配套使用Tera、ARJ45模塊，向下兼容原先Cat.7A支持的應用9.9.x.i.n.x.i.n.e.t。

Selection of Data Center Design and Build 10G and 40G Cabling System
From the perspective of international standards, since the Cat.6 Structured Cabling System cannot meet the 10Gbps data center application, the possibility of future upgrades is relatively small. Therefore, it is recommended that Cat.6A Structured Cabling System is preferred. Cat.7 and Cat.7A Structured Cabling System, although they support 10Gbps or even 25Gbps Data Center Design and Build, they are not recommended because there are fewer network devices currently available and the cost is high.
As for the 40Gbps Data Center Design and Build, it should correspond to Cat.8Structured Cabling System. At present, the Cat.8 Structured Cabling System is mainly divided into Cat.8.1 and Cat.8.2. The system bandwidth of both is 2000M, the permanent link length is 24 meters, and the channel length is 30 meters, which improves the signal-to-noise ratio of the entire channel. The difference is:
